description Take the Virtual Tour! - KRING POINT STATE PARK Kring Point State Park is a narrow peninsula whose south shore faces Goose Bay and north shore faces the St. Lawrence River. Standing anywhere in the park, visitors see water and many of the 1700 islands for which the region is named. Half of the park's 100 campsites are on the waterfront, and virtually every cabin and campsite has a river or bay view. The park has docks on the river and the bay and a sandy beach on the St. Lawrence. Fishing, boating, swimming, and picnicking are major activities. During the winter, visitors cross-country ski.

importantInformation Each year the campground makes every effort to provide safe swimming opportunities by testing the water and by keeping the swimming areas staffed with lifeguards. Please be aware that if the safety of our swimmers is compromised, due to lack of lifeguard coverage or water quality issues, swimming will be prohibited and therefore cannot be a guaranteed activity. We apologize for this inconvenience as it may occur with little advance notice. To insure fairness for all NY customers, any reservation with departure dates outside the 9-month Maximum Window can not be changed or cancelled until 18 days after the reservation was made. Only 2 pets per site are permitted. Current rabies certificate required. Pets must be on a leash no longer than 6ft at all times. Sites 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 29, 59, 60, 62, and 82 are Tent Only Walk-in Sites. Sites 45, 52, 79, 80, 83, 84, 85, 86, and 87 are Tent Only. Sites 75 and 108 are designed as accessible for persons with disabilities. Please keep fires in fire ring only. Reservation holders must be 18 yrs old to obtain a camping permit. Campers must be on site for the first 24 hours. Looking to reserve for just 1-night? If you make your reservation within 3 days of your arrival you can book a 1-night stay online or through the Call Center. This applies only to campsites. Campsite Pictures! : See site photos! CABINS: Peak season runs from the end of June to the end of August. During this time cabins require a 7 or 14 day minimum stay. Two night minimum stays are allowed outside of peak season. Cabin 1 is designed as accessible for persons with disabilities. Cabin campers must bring their own bed/bath linens and kitchen utensils. Smoking is not permitted in the cabins. NO TENTS ALLOWED IN THE CABIN AREA. Peak season: During peak season, a camping party and their equipment may occupy a site for a maximum of 14 continuous days. After which, the camping party and equipment must leave the site and facility for 2 days before registering again for another site.
